A. Device & Identifiers

• Device Metadata: We collect manufacturer, model, and OS version to optimize app performance for your specific hardware.
• Persistent Identifiers: We collect the Android ID and Google Advertising ID to uniquely identify your installation for account security and backup restoration.

B. Precise Location Data

• Install Location: With your explicit consent, we fetch your GPS coordinates (Latitude and Longitude). This is used solely to manage our global user distribution and provide region-relevant services. If you deny this permission, we store a "User denied" status to respect your choice.

C. Contact Data

• Contacts List: We collect your device's contacts list (READ_CONTACTS permission) explicitly for advertising and marketing purposes. This data allows us to tailor and deliver targeted promotional campaigns, advertisements, and marketing communications. This collection only occurs with your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for the following purposes:

• Core App Functionality: Managing user sessions and ensuring the app runs correctly on your device.
• Account Security: Monitoring IP addresses and device IDs to prevent fraudulent activity or unauthorized access.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

• Google Firebase: Used for secure real-time data storage and backend infrastructure.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. In compliance with Play Store requirements:

• Account Deletion: You may request the permanent deletion of all your stored data (including IP logs and location history) at any time.
• Permission Revocation: You can revoke Location permissions through your Android system settings at any time, which will immediately cease further collection.

5. Children's Privacy

Research Hub does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that such data has been collected, it is immediately purged from our secure servers.

We utilize industry-standard encryption for all data transfers between your device and our servers. While we strive for maximum security, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
